After listening to Chaosradio Issue 168 I was encouraged to do some research in the area of local social networks. I knew Diaspora for one year, as it was in the headlines last year. So I registered on the German pod and am now testing. One tech-savvy friend of mine is invited so he will join soon which will be very interesting.
